About Me
My name is Paul Dovydaitis, and I’m currently in the final year of a BS in Computer Science at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. I also spent a year as a visiting student in Mathematics at Royal Holloway University of London in 2007-2008.
In the past I’ve worked at Endeca Technologies and Foliage Software as a software development intern, and since June ‘08 I’ve been an undergraduate member of the Text Information Management Group under ChengXiang Zhai at UIUC. My current research interests center around retrieval methods for web forums, which I’m pursuing under the QueryClinic project. Next August I’ll be starting as a Software Engineer at Jump Trading in Chicago.
In my free time I enjoy cooking, traveling, and I’m also an avid rock climber.
